Cleaning in place
Saurin manufactures custom built CIP sets that are suitable for dairy food processing and
pharmaceutical applications. The units are capable of washing the plant with optimum use of
detergents and are suitable for allergen products washing including pasta lines with peanuts
and seafood.
The CIP sets can be built in configuration to suit customer's requirements and environmental
conditions. The plant comes with its own programmable logic controller that records the complete
sequence of events. This information is essential for a food factory to comply with the regulation
and keep records of the cleaning. This information can be stored in a PC and exported to a
spreadsheet program for manipulation.
The CIP sets incorporate a three tank recirculation unit that can also work as a single use unit
for washing a part of the plant. This is essential to prevent cross contamination from the
allergen products. The systems also incorporate a method for separation of solids from the return
detergents, lowering detergent consumption.
The CIP units are energy efficient and incorporate heat regeneration.
