Horizontal Spray Dryer for powders from Saurin
Saurin manufactures a range of Horizontal Spray Dryers for drying food and non-food products.
These are used in dairy, food, chemicals and minerals industry. Saurin has specifically designed
and built these Dryers that comply with safety regulations. These dryers are significantly
lower in cost compared to vertical dryers and do not need a special building. This range has
been designed for the conscious customer who would like to own a Spray Dryer but does not want
to make a large investment. The common products that are generally dried on the Horizontal
Spray Dryers are high fat powders, cheese powders, soup powders, coffee whitener, calf milkreplace
and many others.
The smallest Spray Dryer in the range is SH 2.5 and is capable of 250kg evaporation per hour.
The largest being SH 20 that would do 2,000kg per hour. The shape of the Dryer chamber is designed
according to the product and can be teardrop or box with conical bottom and screw conveyor or
rectangular with sanitary drag powder removal. Despite the low cost, the dryer comes complete with
a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system and all the parameters are controlled automatically.
A High Pressure Pump feeds the liquid to Spray Nozzles. The Dryer is pre-assembled in the
company's workshop and tested.
